1st day of class
Well, it starts again. Today is the first day of class. The campus is buzzing again, but with less electricity than the fall semester. I teach a 9 a.m. class this semester...I can't imagine any of my students being excited about that. I also teach a 3:35 p.m. class...I can't imagine anyone being excited about that, either.
It snowed here yesterday morning, big, thick flakes. But by the afternoon, the white coating was gone, and things just looked a little wet. It was in the 20's this morning. I tried to unrolled my window in the car this morning, and it was frozen; it wouldn't go down. How 'bout that.
I'm off to class now to meet these bright eyed freshmen & sophomores.

Eli, I found your blog through Chad Gardner's. We recently reconnected at Keith McCord's memorial. I scanned through some of your entries and I wanted to tell you Congratulations on your new position at UT. Your daughter is absolutely adorable! It's great to see what you've been up to. Take care!
