Getting Settled
Well, we have arrived in Knoxville, and last week is a blur. On Sunday, July 30, we celebrated with Sunset Ridge and enjoyed a final going away party with the youth group. We feel so honored and blessed to have worked with Sunset Ridge for four years. It took three days, one new car battery, and many late night driving hours to make it to Knoxville, but we made the trip safely. Then, last Thursday night, a few families from the Farragut Church of Christ welcomed us with a pool party. It's been quite a week going from a farewell party to a welcome party, and traveling over a thousand miles in between.
Thanks to everyone in San Antonio for loving us so much; we hope to see you soon. Thanks to everyone who has welcomed us to Knoxville, by comment on my blog, or through the Farragut Church of Christ.
My classes start Aug. 23. Here I come Ph.d.

Glad you finally made it. SR was different without you all around yesterday. Tell the girls hello.

Eli, glad you all made it and are getting settled. We miss you here, but are happy knowing about the wonderful opportunities in front of you and that the best is yet to come for you, Kristen and Merideth.
