Memphis Tigers: Conference Champs!
And you may be thinking...big deal? C-USA is definitely not the power house like the ACC or SEC, but hey, it may be enough to get the Tigers a number one seed in the NCAA tournament. Looks like the Eye of the Tiger was enough for today.

Have you seen the story ESPN has been running on the Washington guy that plays for Memphis? Pretty neat. It talks about him missing the free throws last year in the conference tourney that would have sent them to the NCAA tourney. Goes on to show how he recovered from that to lead his team this year.
No I haven't; on TV or ESPN.com?
It was on TV. SportsCenter was running it Friday night and Saturday morning.
I'm glad to see that Memphis got a #1 seed. I'm sorry, however, that they will be the first #1 seed to get beat in the NCAA tourney. They'll win on Friday, but will fall to the mighty Razorbacks on Sunday in Dallas.
